ITEM 00049

Gold Quest Bearcat, 11yr old, 14.3 Buckskin, Registered Morgan Gelding.

Is broke to drive, hasn't been hooked in several years.
I would like to give a little history on this handsome little horse.

He belonged to my life time friend Judy Burz who passed away in 2000. I have known Bear since the day he was born, he is a skittish horse who needs a very quiet, experienced and patient person to help him gain trust. I brought him to my farm in July of 07, this was only his second time away from his home, first time being, he went to Don Gretszinger as a 4 yr old for harness training.
Don did an amazing job with this horse, with his patience and experience he gained Bears trust and I was astonished when this skittish little horse went home and continued being driven by Judy's husband Rob, who didn't have much experience with the horses or driving.
I know I am rambling on here but my goal is to find him the perfect home, with someone patient, experienced and quiet.

He really is a wonderful little horse, with that great Morgan heart!!! He loves attention and really enjoys being groomed and fussed over. We have too many of our own, (home bred and raised) to give him the time he needs and so deserves.

We are asking $1800.00 for him, which is a steal for a Registered colored Morgan, and would consider a reasonable offer from a NDS member that could give him that perfect home.

So if your looking for a new driving horse, for pleasure or even for show down the road, and you have the time and patience that Bear needs I'm sure you wont be disappointed. He is a beautiful horse and once you gain his trust he will be amazing!!! He doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Has no vices, well mannered, wonderful disposition, great for farrier, vets, dentist etc....

I have enough faith in this horse that I would consider letting him go on a trail to the right home with a signed contract and insurance. I do require 3 personal references,as well as your Veterinary and Farrier. I do this on all my horses I sell.

I have a first right to refusal in my sales contract, and if it doesn't work out I would buy him back in a heart beat.
Please come take a look and meet this special guy
